One of the most popular canoeing trips is the Wilderness trip where you paddle to a certain point, then get out on a light hike through the beautiful forest to a waterfall where a picnic can be enjoyed while you rest for the hike and paddle back to the starting point.
Ideal for groups, couples and families. This activity is very safe and can be done year round.
There are also adventure canoeing trips where you hike, mountain bike or quad bike through the indigenous forest to a cliff from where you abseil down in to your canoe and then canoe the rest of the way down the river.

3-5 hours is R250.00 per canoe (plus the National Park
Conservation Levy where applicable). This is the best option if
you are going to the waterfall.
A canoe for the whole day is R350 (plus the National Park
Conservation Levy where applicable).
